Terms of Use
Here you will find everything you need to know about orders, deliveries and returns. We want shopping with us to be just as easy as it is for a dog to find a dropped treat!
1. General
These terms apply when you as a consumer place an order through BarkBuddies. By using the website and completing a purchase, you accept the terms in the version applicable at the time of purchase. To shop with us you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. All prices on the website are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to update the terms when necessary, for example due to changes in legislation, delivery arrangements or payment solutions. The version published on the website is always the current one.
2. Company information
BarkBuddies is operated by Bullpatrullens AB, company registration number 559394-6741, Strandtorget 11, 135 63 Tyresö, Sweden. If you have questions about your order, right of withdrawal, complaints or other terms, you can reach us via the contact form on the website or by email at info@barkbuddies.se.
3. Order and agreement
A binding purchase agreement is formed only when we have confirmed your order through an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline or adjust an order if, for example, an item is sold out, technical errors have occurred, or incorrect information was provided at the time of ordering.
It is your responsibility to check that the details in the order confirmation are correct, including delivery address, contact details and ordered products. If something is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible.
4. Products and product information
We always try to present our products as accurately as possible, including descriptions, images, contents and size information. Since many of our products are natural, minor variations in colour, shape, size and texture may occur. Such variations do not normally constitute a defect in the product.
Our products are intended as dog chews, dog treats or dog accessories. You are responsible for choosing products that are appropriate for your dog's size, age, chewing style and any sensitivities. Dogs should always be supervised when chewing or eating treats.
5. Prices and payment
All prices on the website are stated in EUR and include VAT. Any shipping costs, fees or promotional terms are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. We strive for all price information to be correct, but reserve the right to correct obvious typographical errors, technical errors or incorrect price information.
Payment is made through the payment options available at checkout, such as card, invoice or instalment payment via our payment partners. Payment processing is handled by external providers and we do not store complete card details with us.
6. Shipping and delivery
We know the dogs are waiting impatiently for their treats, and we therefore do our best to send orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times stated on the website are estimated and may vary depending on high demand, carrier handling or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Orders placed before 3 pm on weekdays are usually shipped the same day.
- Delivery normally takes 5-8 business days with DHL.
- Free shipping on orders over €100, otherwise from €10.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have 14 days right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act. The period runs from the day you received the item. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us before sending the item back. Note that for health and hygiene reasons, opened packages of dog treats or natural chews cannot be returned. Read more in our return policy.
8. Complaints
If your product is defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. We follow applicable consumer protection legislation and will rectify any defects at no extra cost to you, through repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us via the contact form here.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. In the event of a dispute, we primarily seek an amicable solution. You can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). For EU consumers, the EU's online dispute resolution platform is available.
